Money Matters: Stewardship and Finances

Financial matters are among the top reasons for marital trouble and the increasing number of divorces in America, now hovering around 50%. Each day presents many decisions related to finances and couples often have differences of opinion about spending that can lead to arguments and resentment.

Mike and Georgene, the presenters for this informative session, have been married more than 30 years and have raised three children. Both Mike and Georgene are individually-qualified to speak on the subject of marital finances. Their presentation together is helpful and illustrative to engaged couples as they look toward their own marriage.

Presenters: Mike and Georgene Wojciechowski

Presenters

This segment features a married couple of more than 30 years with three grown children. Mike Wojciechowski, a Certified Public Accountant, obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from Michigan State University in 1976. He has worked in public accounting and industry where he served as a Controller and Treasurer of a New York Stock Exchange company.

Georgene Wojciechowski obtained her BA from Michigan State University in 1976.  She continued her studies at Madonna University obtaining her MA in Educational Leadership in 1997.  She has worked as an elementary Catholic schoolteacher, Director of Religious Education, Principal of a Catholic Elementary School and Associate Superintendent, Office for Catholic Schools, Archdiocese of Detroit.
